What our staff say?
Hear It From Our Team
I have worked at LRV for over 5 years, starting here as a junior staff member. LRV have shown me such generosity and have placed so much confidence in me by ways of providing me with opportunities like my traineeship in veterinary nursing, sending me to conferences for further learning, encouraging me to submit my AVNAT Registration and funding my enrolment in courses to aid in my career progression.
LRV truly care for their employee’s wellbeing, holding regular wellness days, staff dinners and get-togethers. LRV encourages the employees to dream big and they find a way to get them there.
Working with my LRV family over the last 5 years has been such a rewarding experience and I am sure the years to come will continue to provide such joy.

I have worked at Lake Road Vet for over 7 years. Within that time I have been supported by the business and it's owners to grow my career from administration to qualified nurse to practice manager and now business manager. During my time, I have watched the dedication and love the business and team have to the Wagga community, its owners and their furbabies.
The care the team provides is next to none. Lake Road Vet has state of the art equipment, giving the staff every opportunity to provide exceptional care to your pets. There is no other work family I would want to be a part of now or into the future.

Here is what our past employees say
I thoroughly enjoyed my locum stint at Lake Road Vet over the course of May 2021. The team was welcoming, helpful and allowed me to find my feet quickly as a locum and jump into the daily consult and hospital caseload with confidence. The clinic environment was friendly and nursing staff were well trained and provided good support with consults, procedures, hospital cases and after-hours calls. I would happily locum at Lake Road Vet again in the future.

I worked as a casual vet for LRV whilst undertaking further study in Wagga. They were incredibly flexible with my hours and schedule, accommodating all my requests with no hassles. The vet team was always super supportive. I was never left on my own with a difficult case and senior vets were always keen to help out with anything tricky to ensure that the best outcomes were reached for all patients. The support staff were really well trained, took care of much of the routine hospital work, and were on hand to help out whenever needed.
