A creative way to spend the afternoon!
A recent sad event has brought home to us all at Lake Road Vet Clinic the importance of identifying and treating depression. Maintaining good mental health when working under stressful conditions is vital.
This week the girls’ focused on sharing between themselves some of the activities they did as individuals to keep their mental balance and restore their energy. It’s the little things you do each day that can make all the difference.
We decided to share some of them with you.
How do you care for your mental health? What have you done today?
Meditation this morning to focus for the day then using my new ballet shoes foe Online Barre!
A quiet cold one!
I did pt and got my nails done!
Vaccinations and Worming
When you go to the vet you are constantly reminded to get your pet vaccinated and wormed. We do it because we don’t want our fur babies to get sick. But often we wonder if it’s worth all the money we pay out. Our dogs look well. Do they really need it?
Well this week we had a sick little puppy visit.
This is what he passed while he was with us. A 12 inch long round worm!
So this is why we worm our pets! The puppy in question is now wormed and vaccinated and feeling much better.
It’s Desexing Month!
Have you booked your pet in yet? It’s 10% off all desexing this month.
That includes cats, dogs, and all pocket pets too! So bring those guinea pigs and rabbits in.
Remember Thursdays are Tomcat Thursdays and its only $99 to get your male cats and kittens desexed.
Call the clinic to make a booking on 6922 4659.
Happy birthday this week to Sharon!
We hope you have had a great birthday and that your family have spoiled you richly!
Happy birthday, Sharon!
Kyla and Montanna
Kyla and Montanna have now returned to us after completing all their exams.
They have passed all their exams! So it won’t be long before they graduate and are officially Veterinary Nurses.
We congratulate them on their hard work and commitment. Well done to you both. We are very proud of you!
We are a bit slim on adoptions this week which means that Priscilla is doing a great job finding homes for our adoptees.
Our puppies have all found forever homes and we only have one kitten.
Ash is a 10 week old Domestic Short Hair. He is a very brave boy recovering from some minor burns. He is the sweetest, cuddliest and most playful little boy we’ve had for a long time.
