Thank you

We were humbled by the response to our facebook post for donations to assist in helping us to help the wildlife we were receiving from the bushfire affected areas.

We received bandages, assistance from some of our suppliers and financial support.

The financial support has enabled us to purchase a Vetario intensive care unit for small animals, especially for those small animals who cannot maintain their own body temperature like small macropods (joeys) and other clinically ill small mammals.

Our little friend Ike has taken up residence in the Vetario, meaning he no longer has to to be placed on heat pads and heat mats which can overheat causing death.

We have had a range of wildlife in the clinic from the fire area. All the staff have been involved in looking after the animals and in their rehabilitation.

Here are some of the photos that Dr Alex provided.

The echidnas have now been released in a safe area.

Echidnas weren’t the only wildlife that came into the clinic.

This beautiful possum has taken up residence too.

It’s magical to see these animals up close!
